How to Prepare Veggies for Dipping?
Use the freshest, firmest veggies for veggie platters with dip. Wipe off any dirt or wash any veggies that look like they need it. For carrots, save the tops and use them as an attractive garnish next to veggies and dip. For zucchini and cucumbers, the skins can be peeled off or left on. Cut broccoli or cauliflower into small pieces that can be easily held.

The best fruits to use for dips are ones that will hold up well on a wooden skewer or small fork. Try slicing red and green apples into rounds or small wedges for dipping.
