We like to serve this dip with other appies like:

This dip has many of the same ingredients as our dillionaire buttermilk dressing so I often make extra dip to use for the dressing, We like to make chicken or turkey salads with the dill buttermilk dressing!

There are hundreds or maybe thousands of chips and dips recipes but this veggie dip recipe is so versatile, it’s just got a use for everything! Because of the mild combination of sour cream, mayo, and cream cheese, all you really need is a few savory seasonings, herbs, and a spoonful of relish!

Similar to the pre-packaged Knorr ranch dressing, but because it’s homemade this healthy sour cream veggie dip will be a regular for any party or picnic or just hanging out at home!

What Vegetables Can You Use for Dips?

Dillionaire veggie dip is creamy and savory and goes great with all kinds of veggies! Baby carrots, cucumber coins, zucchini, bell pepper strips and celery are perfect for scooping and dipping! Don’t forget the broccoli and cauliflower florets that make any crudité platter pop with color and texture!

I sometimes like to serve up some veggies in a clear plastic cup with a few tablespoons of dillionaire veggie dip at the bottom of the cup – just so people don’t have to keep coming back for more dip and veggies.

How to Prepare Veggies for Dipping?

Use the freshest, firmest veggies for veggie platters with dip. Wipe off any dirt or wash any veggies that look like they need it. For carrots, save the tops and use them as an attractive garnish next to veggies and dip. For zucchini and cucumbers, the skins can be peeled off or left on. Cut broccoli or cauliflower into small pieces that can be easily held.

What Fruit Can You Use for Dips?

The best fruits to use for dips are ones that will hold up well on a wooden skewer or small fork. Try slicing red and green apples into rounds or small wedges for dipping. Strawberries, blueberries, and grapes can be threaded on a wooden skewer for a really colorful presentation! Even squares of cantaloupe or honeydew melon can be dipped in this yummy dill veggie dip. Interestingly delicious!

What Chips Can You Use for Dill Dip

This is a totally classic chip dip recipe and any chip will do! Here’s a quick list of salty snack dippables! Try crackers, toast points, or breadsticks, too!

  • Classic potato chips
  • Corn Chips (‘scoops’)
  • Wonton Crisps
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Pretzel Rods

How Do You Make Dillionaire Dip?

This is the best part! Simply toss all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly! Dillionaire dip tastes best after it’s been chilled an hour or two. Store veggie dip in the refrigerator in a covered container or Stasher bag. It should keep about a week!
