Ingredients and Variations

Pumpkin Puree: Make this syrup with pumpkin puree, not pie filling – which comes pre-seasoned. Add leftover puree to overnight oats or a smoothie.

Seasonings: DIY pumpkin pie spice is the secret ingredient in pumpkin pie syrup and it’s so easy to make and adjust the ingredients to make a homemade signature blend!

Variations: Switch out the sweetened condensed milk for sweetened coconut milk or coconut cream for a vegan, dairy-free version. Make a skinny syrup and use your favorite brown sugar sweetener.

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Syrup

  1. Mix pumpkin pie spice with water and set aside (recipe below.)
  2. Whisk remaining ingredients together in a saucepan.
  3. Bring the syrup to a boil and then simmer until smooth.

Cool slightly before storing.

Helpful Hint

Strain syrup through a cheesecloth or a nut milk bag for a smoother syrup if desired.
