Ingredients in M&M Cookies
M&Ms: Regular sized or mini-M&M’s are perfect in this recipe. There are over 60 different flavors of M&M’s including peanut, peanut butter, chocolate mint or crispy rice. Even espresso flavored M&M’s – so anything goes.
Chocolate Chips: Match the chips to the occasion. Chocolate, vanilla, mint, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips are all great with M&M’s.
Dough: Use quality ingredients like butter, real vanilla extract, and most important of all, a high-quality bag of chocolate chips. Vanilla pudding makes the dough pop with flavor, but you could try a coconut, cheesecake, or even chocolate flavor and create your own signature M&M cookie recipe every time.
Add-Ins and Variations: Why stop at M&M’s? This recipe is adaptable for using other candies like chopped Reese’s pieces, skittles, jelly beans, toffee bits, or crushed peppermint candies for a fun Christmas cookie. For holidays, give your M&M cookies some festive flair with colors of the season.
