Ingredients and Variations

Milk: The only substitute for sweetened condensed milk to make this recipe would be a 16-ounce can of vanilla frosting (the cream cheese flavor is excellent with white chocolate chips, too!)

Chocolate Chips: Naturally chocolate chips can be used in place of the white chocolate variety. So can peanut butter, mint chocolate, and butterscotch!

Variations: Stir in some chopped nuts, dried fruit, granola, or top vanilla fudge with colored sprinkles or holiday-themed jimmies!

How to Make Vanilla Fudge

This super simple, no-bake vanilla fudge takes two ingredients and just a few minutes to put together!

  1. Prepare pan and set aside.
  2. Microwave white chocolate chips in two 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, as described in the recipe below.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and continue to microwave in 30-second intervals until the fudge is melted and fully combined.
  4. Pour into the prepared pan and tap the pan on the counter until the top is smooth.
  5. Refrigerate until set.

Cut into pieces and enjoy!

A Sweet Idea!

Add any desired mix-ins once the fudge is smooth in step three.

Tips for Perfect Fudge

  • For faster and easier melting, mini chips work best!
  • Measure carefully as too many chocolate chips result in an overly hard fudge and too few means the fudge won’t set.
  • Be careful to not overcook the chocolate chips as they can become hard and clumpy (not smooth).
  • Either way, if your fudge doesn’t turn out just right, you can always break it into pieces and use it over ice cream, or smear it over brownies or a homemade pizookie!
  • A lining of parchment paper is the best way to easily remove the fudge from the pan; pan release won’t work.
  • Have fun with cookie cutters or add a few drops of food coloring to suit the occasion!

Storing Fudge

  • Keep vanilla fudge in a covered container at room temperature or the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Freeze portions in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
