What’s in a Pineapple Smoothie?
Pineapple: Any fruit goes with tart and tangy pineapple. Many supermarkets sell frozen fruit medleys that are perfect for smoothies. Mixed strawberries, berries, bananas, and mangoes are great options.
Liquid: Milk and yogurt provide creamy deliciousness to smoothies. But you can use non-dairy liquids like soy, almond, coconut, rice, or oat milk.
Sweetener: Sweeteners are optional in smoothies. Instead of honey you can use agave, maple syrup, Monk fruit, Stevia, or even orange juice.
Variations: Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder, collagen powder, fiber powder, or chia seeds for a guilt-free sweet treat. Sneak in chopped spinach, kale, or shredded zucchini for a veggie twist.
