Cut banana in half. If using fresh pineapple, cut into chunks.
In a blender, add banana, pineapple, yogurt, honey if using, milk, and ice cubes.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If needed, stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times to ensure everything is well combined.
Divide smoothie evenly between 2 glasses, garnish with pineapple wedge or a banana slice on the rim of the glass glasses if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Use chia seeds to thicken smoothie, or add a bit of milk to thin it out.
Make smoothies ahead of time and freeze in small containers to use in future smoothies.
