1cupfresh lemon juiceabout 4 lemons
5-6cupscold water

Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once boiling and sugar has dissolved fully, remove from heat and allow the simple syrup to cool.
To a blender, add strawberries and blend until fully pureed* (or use a hand blender).
To a large pitcher, add puree, lemon juice, water, and about half of the simple syrup. Stir to combine. Taste, and add simple syrup to desired sweetness level.
Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and strawberries if desired.
Notes
*Optional, use a mesh strainer to strain the puree to remove the seeds.
