Instructions
Cut or pull blossoms from the stem. Rinse and dry well, removing any leaves, stems, or brown flowers.
Add water to a small saucepan on medium high heat. Add sugar, lilac blossoms, and berry if using.
Bring to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved. Cool.
Remove berry if using and refrigerate overnight, or up to 3 days, until the flavor is to your liking. Strain, using cheesecloth, to remove blossoms. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.

Freeze into ice cubes for cold drinks such as iced tea, lemonade, or cocktails.
