Wash outside of squash. Using a fork, poke holes around the squash lengthwise (see image). Microwave on high for 3 minutes to soften (or cook in the air fryer for about 8-9 minutes). Cool for 5-10 minutes until you can easily handle the squash. Cut in half lengthwise.
Use a spoon to scrape out and remove seeds. Brush inside of squash with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake spaghetti squash for 25-30 minutes, until fork tender.
Scrape spaghetti squash to make noodles. Serve with butter, pasta sauce, or simply your favorite seasonings and spices.

Choose a firm, vibrant spaghetti squash for best results.
