This homemade Italian seasoning is a quick pantry staple made with dried herbs you probably already have on hand. Mix up one jar in minutes for sauces, chicken, vegetables, and dressings.
Add dried basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, rosemary, marjoram, and sage to a medium bowl. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
Place in a sealed container to store. I love using mason jars with my favorite mason jar caps, but any storage will work.
Notes
Seasoning may be stored in the pantry for up to 1 year.
Marjoram can be ordered online, or omit it.
Variations: Add ½ a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes for extra kick, or a teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder for an extra savory flavor.
