Preheat barbecue to medium high heat, about 400-425°F degrees.
In a large bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add beans to a grill basket (or foil) and place on the grill. Cook 7-10 minutes, or until lightly charred and tender crisp, shaking or stirring after 4 minutes.
