shortening

vegetable oil
or canola oil
Instructions
In a jar or small bowl, mix together flour, shortening, and oil.*
Store covered at room temperature. I store it in a
mason jar
, and cover with
mason jar caps
.
Use a
pastry brush
to brush the pan release on a pan, covering thoroughly. Use when a recipe asks to "grease and flour' or "grease" the pan.
Notes
*to make it easier to mix, microwave the mixture for 10-15 seconds.
