Make this quick and easy Oven Roasted Cauliflower recipe with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper for a tasty side dish that is perfect served with many different entrees.
Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Clean and dry cauliflower and cut into bite sized pieces.
Place on the lined baking tray and drizzle with olive oil and toss**. Spread evenly leaving space between the cauliflower. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder if using.
Bake for 20 minutes (flipping after 15 minutes if desired)***, and check for doneness.
Sprinkle with pepper and additional salt to taste, then serve immediately.
Notes
*A larger cauliflower may be around 2 pounds and may fill two baking trays, plus require a little more oil and salt. Switch trays partway through if using two trays, and using a convection cooking option would be perfect for this. **If preferred, toss together cauliflower, olive oil, garlic powder if using, and salt in a large bowl and spread out on the baking tray. ***For more crisp cauliflower, expect about 18-20 minutes, for softer cauliflower, about 23-25 minutes. Flipping is not required but may help with more even browning.
