Halve avocados, remove pit, and add avocado flesh to a medium bowl.
Add lime juice, garlic, and salt. Mash with a fork or pastry cutter to desired consistency.
Add tomato, cilantro, onion, and jalapeno. Mix to combine.
Add additional salt to taste and mix.
Notes
If making ahead, squeeze extra lime juice onto the surface and place plastic wrap over the surface. Stir together when ready to eat. Best used same day.
