No more boring oatmeal for breakfast! Say “Chunky Monkey” and everyone will come running to the table when you serve this peanut butter banana oatmeal treat. A scrumptious kid-friendly breakfast!
In a medium pot, add water, oats, banana, and peanut butter.
On medium high heat, bring to a boil. Reduce to low and simmer oatmeal for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until cooked and creamy and oatmeal reaches your desired consistency.
Scoop into 4 bowls, sprinkling with chocolate chips and banana slices.

Tip: save a couple of slices from the banana to use as garnish if you don’t have extra banana.Cook for 7 minutes for instant steel cut oats.For extra nutrition, add 1 Tablespoon of flax or chia seeds.
