green beans

Tablespoon
olive oil
just enough to coat
½
teaspoon
kosher salt
or to taste
freshly ground black pepper
to taste

clove
garlic
crushed, or ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Wash beans and trim ends.
Add beans to a bowl* and drizzle with olive oil.
Add salt, pepper, and garlic if using, and toss well. Spread into a single layer on the baking tray.
Roast beans for 18-22 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness. Broil for 1 minute if desired.
Notes
*Coating beans with oil and seasonings can also be done directly on the baking tray.
